EVA community


It is international group of young people: volunteers, their mentors, and all people who is interested of social work and who likes multicultural atmosphere. We organize a lot of interesting ventures for them: "volunteers cafe"- informal meetings of volunteers and their mentors and friends. "КиноГоризонты"- ambitious movies in original language, meeting with producers and discussion on this films. "Discussion club"- Discussions and debates on sharp political and social themes.

Kultprosvet



In February of this year we started the project “Kultprosvet,” which was developed by the European Volunteer Agency. The goal of the project is to integrate foreign and Russian volunteers, who work with social, cultural, and human-rights organizations, into the cultural environment of the city of St. Petersburg. Coming to St. Petersburg to receive new knowledge and skills, these students, journalists and specialists from the non-profit sector learn, with our help, to better orient themselves and adapt to unfamiliar surroundings. The long-term project “Kultprosvet” was developed in order to acquaint the visiting volunteers with the culture of the city and the country, while also contributing to the development of friendly relations with each other and between the volunteers and the local volunteer community and volunteer coalition, which consists of more than 16 volunteer organizations in St. Petersburg.  The project’s first event occurred on the 7th of February, 2009. A large group of volunteers from the organizations “Perspectives,” “Shelter,” and “Caritas” went on an excursion to the Museum of the Defense of Leningrad, which is dedicated to the courageous defense of the city during World War II.
