How do you participate in a 1-2 month program?
In order to participate in the program, you must fill out an application and send it by email to the address located in the survey.
What is the program “1 or 2 months?”
When?
Germans in Russia – the end of March through May, 2009
Russians in Germany– June-July 2009
Or
Germans in Russia– September-October 2009
Russians in Germany– December-January 2010
What is the educational process and internships?
¨Participants in the one to two month program study in a German school, improve their German, take part in programs or work in an internship with an organization that works in their field of interest
Where do the participants live in the course of the program?
¨Participants live in a host family during the program. The family provides food and care for the participant.
What do the Organizers do?
¨The organizers of the program select the participants, conduct the preparatory meetings, provide complete organizational and informational support (tickets, visas, insurance etc.), set up arrangements with the host schools and internships, and remain in contact with the parents of the participants throughout the program.
How much does the program cost and what is included?
Cost of the program – 1,000 Euro based on the rate of the Central Bank on the day of payment. This price includes round-trip airfare, medical insurance, 8 lessons of German in Germany, full organizational and pedagogical support.
Whocanparticipate?
Students who are between the ages of 14 and 18 from St. Petersburg or the Leningradskoi Region who have either a beginning or intermediate level of German and who are prepared to host a German student in their family.
Candidates from other regions can participate in the program if they come to St. Petersburg in the qualifying round.
